PRAYER

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

James 5:16

When you meet a new person, it can be awkward. At first, you may not know what to say or talk about. Our prayer lives can be very similar. God is a person too. When we pray we are communicating our heart to God, talking to Him, thanking Him, worshipping Him, or if you’re like me pleading for mercy and forgiveness.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7

When I first started a real relationship with Christ I was unsure of exactly how to pray. I looked to others for prayers to help me as a guide. As I grew closer in my walk with God I formed my own personal prayer life. I know you will get there too.

As you begin to know Him deeper you will become more comfortable and confident in your prayer life.

Your prayer life will grow as your relationship with God grows.

Please feel free to use the prayers I have created for you, which you can find them here, as a guide as you go deeper with Jesus. Some of these prayers will be passages of scripture worded back to Him. Others will just be from my heart. If you have specific topics you would like me to write let me know!

Make sure you’re on my email list so you can receive prayer posts!

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. … Devote yourselves
to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.
